Is the practice accessible?
The practice was set up for wheelchair access, with a disabled toilet and baby-changing facilities. Please call 01375 481000 before your visit if you have any access needs.
Who works at the practice?
Dr Dave Basrai and Dr Jasmin Basrai lead the clinical team, supported by our reception and nursing staff.
What technology do you use?
DIAGNOdent laser technology to help detect decay early, and an intraoral scanner for digital 3D scans.
How do you keep the practice safe?
Instruments are cleaned and sterilised in line with UK dental guidance, and the team trains regularly in infection control.
Is Chafford Hundred Dental Care private?
Yes, fully private, for adults and children. Fees are explained and confirmed in writing before any treatment starts.
Who regulates the practice?
The practice is registered with the Care Quality Commission as Chafford 100 Dental Care, and our dentists are registered with the General Dental Council. We're registered with the ICO for data protection, number ZA515381.
What is the 'Dave Ferrari Team'?
It's a nickname our team picked up for its energy in going the extra mile for patients.
What do you mean by a boutique practice?
We keep our daily patient numbers low, so every patient gets our full attention and time to ask questions.
Is the practice family-run?
Yes. It's led by Dr Dave Basrai, with Dr Jasmin Basrai also working here as a dentist, supported by our reception and nursing team.
Do you make dentures at the practice?
Yes. We offer a bespoke denture service through Changing Faces, within our practice on Drake Road, for full and partial dentures.

On Drake Road, Chafford Hundred, Grays, Essex RM16 6SE, with on-site parking. Chafford Hundred Lakeside station is about 0.8 miles away and M25 Junction 30 about 1.5 miles.
